Beliefs held in common with other Churches of God, also
known as
“Our Declaration of Faith"
We believe:
1. In
the verbal inspiration of the Bible.
2. In
one God eternally existing in three persons; namely, the
Father, Son and Holy Ghost.
3.
That Jesus Christ is the only begotten Son of the Father,
conceived of the Holy Ghost, and born of the Virgin Mary,
That Jesus was crucified, buried, and raised from the dead.
That He ascended to heaven and is today at the right hand of
the Father as the Intercessor.
4.
That all have sinned and come short of the glory of God and
that repentance is commanded of God for all and necessary
for forgiveness of sins.
5.
That justification, regeneration, and the new birth are
wrought by faith in the blood of Jesus Christ.
6. In
sanctification subsequent to the new birth, through faith in
the blood of Christ; through the Word, and by the Holy
Ghost.
7.
Holiness to be God's standard of living for His people.
8. In
the baptism with the Holy Ghost subsequent to a clean heart.
9. In
speaking with other tongues as the Spirit gives utterance
and that it is the initial evidence of the baptism of the
Holy Ghost.
10.
In water baptism by immersion, and all who repent should be
baptized in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of
the Holy Ghost.
11.
Divine healing is provided for all in the atonement.
12.
In the Lord's Supper and washing of the saints' feet.
13.
In the pre-millennial second coming of Jesus. First, to
resurrect the righteous dead and to catch away the living
saints to Him in the air. Second, to reign on the earth a
thousand years.
14.
In the bodily resurrection; eternal life for the righteous,
and eternal punishment for the wicked.

Sunday School at Clays Mill
Road
A healthy, vibrant Sunday School ministry
is vital to the spiritual health and development of the local
church. The Sunday School Ministry team at Clays Mill Road is
dedicated to clear and effective teaching of God's word on an
age-appropriate basis. We have classes from nursery age to senior
adults. We use the Pathway Press Sunday School series that will
take a student through the entire Bible in a seven-year period. It
is our hope that you will be enriched and enlightened by studying
the Word of God in our classes.
Weekly Prayer Meetings
Nothing happens that doesn't first begin
with prayer! We believe that prayer is the key that unlocks the door
to a closer relationship with the Lord and produces a heart ready to
receive from the Lord. Each week there is a time of prayer for the
needs of the church and the community. We encourage you to join us
as we seek the face of God!

Women's Ministries
Our
Mission
To encourage spiritual
growth, personal development and leadership among women; and to
contribute to the general welfare of the home, church, community and
world.
Women's Ministries
became an official part of the general church program in 1936.
Initially, the focus was on raising funds to assist local churches.
While women are still pleased to assist financially, our focus has
broadened into many ministry opportunities.
Our Women's Ministries
works directly with our state Women's Ministries president and State
Girls Clubs coordinator.
These women are creative, talented, dedicated leaders.
The Clays Mill Road
Church of God Women's Ministries offers multiple opportunities for
women to be involved in various areas of ministry expression
including:
Bible studies and
personal growth studies
Local fellowship, care
and special needs groups
Retreats/Seminars
Children's ministries
World and Home Missions
Benevolence
Social concerns and
family life issues
Intercessory prayer,
leadership training, mentoring, teaching and soul winning.
